Mario was such a good model for my workshop assignment this week! I like this picture in color and black & white.

If you know me or have read my about me, then you know I’m a gamer. I have always loved playing games.  I remember playing the Atari in my grandparents basement with my cousin and the original NES (Nintendo) with my mom. My brothers and I played the Super Nintendo together and played more Streets of Rage 2 on the Genesis than I’d like to admit. I’m pretty sure there was a fair amount of NBA Jam in there too.

I crossed over to the ‘dark side’ when my husband and I first started dating. He introduced to my first MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game), Dark Age of Camelot. Fast forward three years later to WoW (World of Warcraft). When I first tried the game I didn’t care for it but then I decided to re-visit it a few months later in search of something new to play and ended up loving it. It’s 2011, I’m still hooked. I usually play until I hit a certain goal, quit and then Blizzard decides to come out with an expansion and the circle starts again.

I had finally hit 85 with my two main characters and quit. I started playing Rift about a month ago and just couldn’t get into it. Jason then reminded me on Friday about WoW’s free to play in till level 20 and there you go, the vicious cycle starts again. I have made my return to Azeroth.
